It’s not just that the food is so fresh, colorful, and fragrant; it’s the whole gestalt of this little eatery. Las olas means “waves” in Spanish. And the décor reflects that on every level. All the colors are warm and tropical: aqua walls with great original art depicting waves of every sort, and conch-colored tables with curvy edges that resemble waves.

When we come to Hampton Beach every Summer, my wife and I discuss what day we’re going to go to Las Olas for lunch. There’s nothing we’ve had that has been short of amazing, fresh and delicious!

“I had an amazingly delicious burrito at Las Olas! I loved the whole set up. Plenty of seating, really nicely done paintings adorning the walls. The prices are great. I tried a burrito and it was mild with interesting ingredients. My friend and I also purchased the sweet potato hash. It was more like small french fries than a traditional hash, but it was very tasty and not too spicy. I saw a sign that said you could add the sweet potato hash to your burrito, and I may do that next time. I wish I had stopped in sooner- I have passed Las Olas at least 50 times and always said, hmm I’ll have to stop some time. Don’t be like me- go in now. Right now. You won’t regret it!”

We just got word from the editors at NH Magazine that Las Olas Taqueria was voted Best Taqueria for 2011… Wow! We would like to thank you all for your support and for all the votes! It truly is a big deal to us and the staff is really excited about all their hardwork paying off. Again, thanks so much

“I love las olas. Their burritos are wonderful, but lately their bowls have been more bang for my buck. Go on thursdays, their chicken chile verde is amazing! This is the best comfort food place around!”
